We were approached by one of the largest US chain systems of medical laboratories which are focused on MRO, medical, DNA and drug testing. The only source of leads generating was its partnership with a number of clinics across the USA, and the existing Veritas website was old-fashioned and looked like it was assembled using a free site builder.
During the communications, we have formed several tasks, and the sneak peek showed that there were no issues that cannot be overcome:

STYLISH AND GLOSSY DESIGN
The customer expressed his aspiration of having up-to-date, good looking site that underlines a strong reputation of the enterprise. The site they have already had did not do so. We made a sort of brief and then assigned the work to our designer. We were fortunate enough to meet the customer’s expectations from the first attempt, so all the approvals were easy enough.
As a result we have developed and present the whole look of the site. The design turned out to be low-profile but eye-catching thanks to cold colors and plenty of issue-related video blocks. Its tidy navigation elements, the modern typographic and moderate content saturation are fully relevant to the concept of the successful biotechnological business.
TRAFFIC THROUGH SEO
We have done a great job on the search engine optimization of the site. There is a separate page with a permanent URL that collects search requests and provides the necessary content to users for each more or less large US city here. Users can also find their city using integrated Google Maps by geodata or search by ZIP code. As a result, the site got leading positions for many search queries, which we identified during the analysis.
BUILT-IN CRM AND SALES AUTOMATION
The automation of the sales process was the matter-of-course for us at the beginning of the project. Apparently, it was our confidence in the need to implement it that helped convince the customer, who did not really believe in the capabilities of the Web at the start of cooperation. We investigated the company’s processes and found fertile ground for optimization and automation.
As a result, we have developed the site-based CRM that is ideally fitting for the Veritas’ processes and needs. All the way users interact with the server covered with it and are ready for further handling by company staff.
Veritas Lab works with the user’s personal data which is potentially harmful when leaks. That’s why one of the essential requirements was to reach the maximaly possible level of its security. It tied, as well, with the online payment feature that utilizes banking cards' personal data.
Taking it into account all the requirements mentioned before, we decided to develop the CRM from scratch rather than use Salesforce or any other out-of-the-box customizable solution. In that case, all the data is stored on the company’s own servers and not at the cloud. Moreover, the data of banking cards is fully encrypted and unhelpful for cheaters even when stolen.
When user acceptance testing and deployment were finished the customer was satisfied with the result. After a while, the first data arrived from the real users, who proved the correctness of our hypotheses.
THE ORDERS PROCESSING ACCELERATED BY 28%
Thanks to the automation the orders process became quicker, what significantly reduced the staff burden.
THE NEW SALES CHANNEL ARRIVED
While the old site did not generate any leads at all, the new one presently generates about 20 calls per day. With the average conversion rate of about 30% and the average spent counted more than $250 it helps the company to increase its revenue significantly. And this is just the beginning.
COMPETITORS WERE OUTDISTANCED
Independent sources prove that the new Veritas Lab site allows it successfully outdistance its main competitors which sites mostly look outdated.
